CRAZY WISDOM SAVES THE WORLD AGAIN!
Many of us are amazed when we read of the latest scientific discovery about the size of the cosmos or the workings of biological evolution. In his keynote address, Wes Nisker will describe the relationship of mindfulness to the creative process and explore how these new scientific stories can serve as our guiding mythology, helping us heal our alienation from nature and find more delight in the simple fact of our existence. In the course of the talk Mr. Nisker will lead us in some guided meditations on the workings of our bodies, our nature as nature, our vital “animal” conditioning, and the grand mystery of consciousness.
Wes “Scoop” Nisker is a Buddhist meditation teacher, author, radio commentator and performer. His books include “Essential Crazy Wisdom,” “The Big Bang, The Buddha, and the Baby Boom,” “Buddha’s Nature” and “Crazy Wisdom Saves the World Again!” Mr. Nisker is also the founder and co-editor of the international Buddhist journal “Inquiring Mind.”
SOULCOLLAGE® and the TRANSFORMING IMAGE
Image, Imagination and Intuition (the three magical “I’s”) are primary ingredients in the process called SoulCollage®. Seena Frost will demonstrate how SoulCollage® weaves the three “I’s” into a creative, accessible and fun process—one that will open inner pathways to healing and wholeness.
Seena B. Frost, M.Div., M.A., has been a California licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1976. Although still doing some clinical work, most of her time is devoted to SoulCollage®, the process she originated in the 1980s. Her book, "SoulCollage®: An Intuitive Collage Process for Individuals and Groups," was published in 2001. At present, Seena leads on-going SoulCollage® groups, conducts trainings for facilitators and co-leads specialized workshops.
